 ৯.৩. দাস প্রথা

ইসলামের মত ইহুদি আর খ্রিস্টান ধর্মও দাসপ্রথাকে সমর্থন করে। দাসপ্রথা (মান দাসত্ব) এর অনুমোদন বাইবেলের উভয় টেস্টামেন্টেই রয়েছে। বিশেষ করে তোরাতে দাসপ্রথার বিভিন্ন নিয়মকানুন উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে। এসব নিয়মের উল্লেখ প্রমান করে যে দাসপ্রথাকে অনুমোদনযোগ্য ধরেই বাইবেল এসব আর্গুমেন্ট দিচ্ছে।এগুলো হল পরোক্ষ প্রমাণ।

For instance, in Exodus’ Covenant Collection, when a Hebrew slave is freed after six years of service, if he had taken a slave woman as wife during that time, he is to leave her and the children as property of the master:

Exod 21:4 If his master gave him a wife, and she has borne him children, the wife and her children shall belong to the master, and he shall leave alone.
